Accent Guesses

Points to note:

  • The NAm female voice is the clear leader in all traits except income and class.
  • The NAm male is almost always rated second, just below her.
  • The AusE male voice is usually in third or fourth place.
  • All voices are downgraded in the humour variable relative to the other national samples.
  • Except for the solidarity traits, the NZE male is more highly rated by the Americans than he is by the New Zealanders.
